Your responsibilities

As an Electrical Technician Metro Overhaul, you work on the complete renewal of self-driving metro trains. The metros are completely stripped and rebuilt so that they will be safe and reliable again for the coming years.

You replace and install complete electrical systems, including:

Lighting
Public address systems
Fire detection
Train safety systems
Wiring
Distribution and control cabinets
Displays and panels

You work in day shifts in a modern workshop in Rotterdam, together with a committed team of specialists from various technical backgrounds.

Your work environment

You will work at the market leader in the field of development and maintenance of trains, trams, and metros. At this location in Rotterdam, the focus is specifically on the maintenance and overhaul of locomotives and now also metros.

Your skills

MBO level 3 or 4 diploma in Electrical Engineering,
Mechatronics, Automotive Technology or similar
Experience with electrical installations, wiring and technical systems
VCA-VOL and forklift certificate (or willingness to obtain these)
Aerial work platform certificate is a plus
