Your responsibilities
As a FEM Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for calculating and simulating new and existing mechanical designs. The role involves:
Developing and executing FEM analyses and hand calculations to validate mechanical designs
Creating reliable computational models and simulations
Analyzing and implementing applicable regulations and standards
Preparing comprehensive technical reports and presentations
Advising colleagues and clients on design modifications
Working with both FEMAP and ANSYS software platforms
Collaborating within project teams led by a lead engineer

Your skills
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience with FEM analysis
Proven experience with FEMAP or ANSYS
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Critical thinking and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is preferred but not required)
Experience with MADCATH is a plus
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
